DESCRIPTION:Space to Breathe is an adventure-based therapeutic camp for teens ages 12-17 who have been impacted by a parent or sibling’s cancer. The 4-day\, 3-night program gives teens a chance to challenge themselves and build resilience while forging strong bonds with other teens who “get it.” \nFacilitated by both clinical counselors and outdoor leadership professionals at Camp Wavus in Jefferson\, ME. \nOpen to teens ages 12-17 who have been impacted by a parent or sibling’s cancer. Registration is free and is limited on a first-come first-served basis.\nOnline sign up is not available for this event. In this context\, Sojourn offers a pause for rest and renewal within the cancer experience —a reflective space that aims to create and provide space to question\, wonder\, identify\, and express through peer support\, expressive arts activities\, and meaningful discussion.\n\n“You will be graced with the necessary catastrophes.
